Glenforest Secondary School celebrates its 40th year in 2009. It continues to be a school rich in tradition where creativity, curiosity, imagination, and dedication are honoured through intellectual, physical and emotional pursuits. Glenforest fosters a caring and empowering environment where knowledgeable teachers and students engage in meaningful and enjoyable learning in a professional learning community.
Our school values high standards of work and behaviour, a safe and healthy learning environment, the diversity of its learning community, learning beyond the classroom, personal responsibility and global citizenship. The school philosophy of local action and global awareness allows for full school involvement regardless of program choice. Student needs are at the forefront of all decision making as our efforts to become a "great school".
