OUR HISTORY
DECA has become an important part of Glenforest in the past few years. Starting off with a small group of only twelve students, GFSS DECA has expanded each year. In fact, Glenforest received the DECA award for the highest percentage increase in members in 2006-2008. GFSS DECA continues to welcome more members and expand itself every year.

DECA members are encouraged to research their own events and collect information regarding it. Remember , we work as a team and we help each other as a team too. As you may already know, DECA involves a lot more than just the individual/team events. It also includes many special activities such as Grade 9 challenge, Quiz Bowl, written events, VBC, stock market game and much more.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED!!
Grade 9 CompetitionOfficial DECA sponsored competition meant only for grade 9s. Consists of one role play and a multiple choice event.
Perfect for those DECA members with little experience and need to develop their skills.
VBC (Virtual Business Challenge)The DECA Virtual Business Challenge is an official DECA competitive event where participants use highly visual simulation software (like SimCity) to manage a business. This year's VBC will have two tracks: Retail and Sports. First competition is coming up soon so SIGN UP TODAY!
