Welcome to the SAC at Glenforest! At Glenforest Secondary School, we follow our motto "Offer the best, Expect the best, To be the best" and you should expect no less if you choose to join the Student Activity Council.
What is the SAC?
The Student Activity Council, or SAC as we’re frequently referred to as, is one of the largest clubs at Glenforest. Composed of the general council and the executive council the SAC plays a key role in representing the student body. School wide events such as dances, Battle of the Bands, Spirit events and fundraising for charities are the main responsibility of the SAC. The entire SAC meets once a week to plan the numerous events that occur throughout the year. The Student Activity Council meets once a week, Monday afternoons at 3:00 for an hour.
The General Council is the driving force of this council and is composed of dedicated students, who are looking for a chance to involve themselves and show some leadership skills. If this sounds like you, show up at our next general council meeting, and get involved!
