Youth for Global Action

Youth for Global Action is back in ACTION! Due to the input of our many club members and teachers, we’ve decided to support ‘Creation of Hope’ for the school year: 2010- 11. This organization is based in Kikima, Kenya, and supports several orphans in the community, by providing residential placement and/or food distribution every two weeks. Unlike many other organizations, it educates and guides the community in order to become self-sufficient. It uses 100% of the proceeds to support its residential placement and food distribution program. This year, our club is striving towards raising $5,000 for this great organization. With the support of students, parents, and the Glenforest staff, we feel it’s a goal that we can surely achieve!
